Wilma A. Silberhorn

Wilma A. Silberhorn, age 88, of Britton, passed away July 14, 2014 at home.Wilma was born November 5, 1925 in Blissfield, Mich., the daughter of Albert and Minnie (Minster) Procknow. In November 1957, she married Arnold “Jack” Silberhorn. Wilma was active in many activities, volunteering at both the Tecumseh and Adrian Historical Museums.She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tecumseh.In addition to her husband Jack, she is survived by three sons: Bill (Cathy) Silberhorn of Charlevoix, John (Sylvia) Silberhorn of Adrian, and Kris Silberhorn of Tecumseh; six grandchildren, Lauren (Ryan) Ringle, Scott Silberhorn, Jamie (Aaron) Sanday, Trisha (Robert) Henry, Joshua (Kristin) Silberhorn and; Alex Silberhorn; seven great-grandchildren, Keaton, Crosby, Noah, Logan, Aislinn, Dylan, and Asher; and sister, Elizabeth Wolf of Tecumseh.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with Rev. Philip Krieger officiating. Interment will follow at Raisin Presbyterian Cemetery, Holloway.Visitation will also take place on Friday from 12 p.m. until time funeral service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.Memorial contributions may be directed to Great Lakes Hospice.Condolences may be offered online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
