Woman life-flighted to Ann Arbor hospital after being run over by truck on Chicago Blvd. in Tecumseh
The Tecumseh Police Department is continuing to investigate a traffic crash that resulted in serious injuries to a Tecumseh woman Thursday afternoon, Jan. 17, at approximately 3 p.m.Joanna Gall, age 24, was walking within the crosswalk on Evans St. north of Chicago Blvd., when a southbound pickup truck driven by 30-year-old Kyle Mason, also of Tecumseh, stopped for a red light. Mason proceeded to turn west on Chicago Blvd., but did not see Gall in the crosswalk. Gall was knocked down to the ground and then run over by Mason’s truck.Gall was transported to Herrick Hospital and later transferred to the University of Michigan Medical Center by air ambulance. At the time of the Tecumseh Police Department press release Gall’s condition was unknown.
