THE LENAWEE County Commission will hold its second annual “Strike Against Homelessness” bowling tournament on Friday, March 19, at Ten Pin Alley, Tecumseh.  Registration opens at 6 p.m. with bowling to begin at 6:30 p.m.
There is a registration fee and each bowler is requested to seek pledges to help the mission generate funds for its expansion effort.  Official registration and pledge forms are available at www.lcmission.org.

THE AMERICAN Red Cross will hold a babysitter training class on Saturday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Red Cross Chapter House, 201 N. Broad St., Adrian.  
Students must be between the ages of 11 and 15.  Students will receive training in good business practices, baby basics, problem solving, first aid and checking the unconscious victim, conscious choking for infants and children and rescue breathing.
Students will receive a babysitter handbook, CD Rom and a small first aid kit.  There is a charge for the class.
