The Annual Turkey Supper hosted by the Britton Congregational Christian Church will be held Wednesday, Oct.15, 2008, beginning at 4:30 p.m. The menu includes tgurkey, dressing, real mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade cranberry relish, coleslaw, squash, rolls and beverages. There is a charge for the dinner. Drive-through carry-out orders will again be available at the back door of the church, also beginning at 4:30 p.m. | ||

Join Bixby Medical Center on Sat., Oct. 18, for Graze to Raise, a 5K walk and taste event that will benefit the local Hickman Cancer Center at Bixby. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m., with a balloon release at 10:10 a.m. to begin the walk at Bixby. More than 16 food stations will be spread throughout the 5K course that begins behind Bixby Medical Center and Hickman Cancer Center at the registration/finale tent and winds through the surrounding neighborhoods.
