A Grief Share seminar: Surviving the Holidays will be held Thursday, Dec. 18 from 6-8 p.m. at the Tecumseh District Library, downstairs meeting room. The seminar is a helpful, encouraging seminar for people facing the holidays after a loved one’s death. There is no charge for this event.
The seminar features practical suggestions and reassurance through video interviews with counselors, grief experts and other people who have experienced the holidays after their loved one’s death. Topics to be discussed include “Why the Holidays Are Tough,” “What to Expect,” “How to Prepare,” “How to Manage Relationships and Holiday Socials” and “Using
the Holidays to Help You Heal.”
Those who attend will receive a free book with over 30 daily readings providing additional insights and ideas on holiday survival.

CHURCH WOMEN United of Lenawee County will be holding its annual potluck on Friday, Jan. 9, at noon at the St. Joseph’s activity center. Please bring your own table service and a dish to pass. Please use the west entrance to the center.

Karen Ansley Krugman will speak on "Color Your Ancestor Alive." Krugman is a professional genealogist, author, and speaker. She has been doing genealogy for about 20 years, of which nine were professional. She has written four books on family history, and the fifth book is in progress, being prepared for publication. This free program is presented by LCFR and Tecumseh District Library. Anyone who is interested in genealogy is welcome.
