Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.) Self-Help Group meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3448 North Adrian Highway, Adrian.  The church is located on M-52, on the west side of the road, just before the traffic light for Valley/Occidental Road, coming from Adrian.
Educational speakers vary each month, as well as socializing.  All meetings are open to all individuals diagnosed with multiple sclerosis as well as their family and caregivers.

Lenawee County Family Researchers will meet on March 9 at 7 p.m. at Tecumseh District Library, 215 N. Ottawa, in Tecumseh.  Karen Jania will discuss “The Resources of the Bentley Library”.  The program will describe the library’s genealogical resources.
Jania is the Reference Archivist at the Bentley Historical Library at the University of Michigan.  She has been working at the library since 1988.  As a part of her job, she gives genealogy talks to area societies and associations.  
She is a past president of the Michigan Archival Association and is currently on the Board of the Washtenaw County Historical Society.

THE LENAWEE County Commission will hold its second annual “Strike Against Homelessness” bowling tournament on Friday, March 19, at Ten Pin Alley, Tecumseh.  Registration opens at 6 p.m. with bowling to begin at 6:30 p.m.
There is a registration fee and each bowler is requested to seek pledges to help the mission generate funds for its expansion effort.  Official registration and pledge forms are available at www.lcmission.org.

Russell Road, Tecumseh, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to benefit the Tecumseh Fire Foundation and the Fire Training Burn Building. Participating vendors include: Princess House, Mary Kay, PartyLite, Tastefully Simple, Silpada, Daisy Farms Bakery, Stampin' Up, Pampered Chef, and Tupperware. Raffle tickets are available at $1 each for a grand prize drawing valued at over $100.

Students must be between the ages of 11 and 15.  Students will receive training in good business practices, baby basics, problem solving, first aid and checking the unconscious victim, conscious choking for infants and children and rescue breathing.
Students will receive a babysitter handbook, CD Rom and a small first aid kit.  There is a charge for the class.
