UNDERWOOD ORR #34 Auxiliary will meet Sept. 13, at the Tecumseh American Legion Post Home at 7 p.m.

A BENEFIT Dinner will be held for Brandon Fink and family on Tuesday, Sept. 14, from 5-8:30 p.m. at the Lenawee Christian Centre Banquet Room, US 223, Adrian.
Brandon is a 24-year-old who was critically injured on Devil’s Lake on Aug. 8, as a result of a jet ski accident.  He is currently recovering at St. Joe’s Rehab in Ann Arbor.  The charge is $5 per person at the door.  Numerous raffles will be held, along with a bake sale.
Brandon is the son of Jim and Deb Burch of Onsted.

The Tecumseh Historical Museum announces new hours of operation: Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 to 3 p.m. The museum is located at 302 E. Chicago Blvd., Tecumseh.

Tecumseh Parks and Recreation Department will be conducting canoe and kayak races on Saturday, Sept. 18, at Globe Mill Pond. Call 423.5602 for more information.

THE MACON UNITED Methodist Church, 11964 Macon Hwy., will host a chicken and biscuit harvest dinner on Sept. 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.  Adult meals are $9 and children’s meals are $5.  Carry-outs will be available.  For more information call 423-8270.

THE PEERLESS Gear reunion will be held Sunday, Sept. 19, at 1 p.m. at Island Park, Adrian. Bring a dish to pass and drinks.

The Promenade Tecumseh committee will hold an organizational meeting on Monday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. in the Tecumseh Historical Museum. The meeting will begin plans for the Candlelight Home Tour on Dec. 3-4, and the spring Home Tour on May 14-15, 2011. The organization welcomes new members. Anyone interested in these two events is encouraged to attend the meeting or contact committee president Pat VanCamp at 424-7675.

THE CLINTON Fall Festival book sale will be held Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 23-25 from 9 .am. until 6 p.m. at the Clinton Township Public Library.

THE CLINTON United Church of Christ will host a roast beef dinner on Sept. 24, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Clinton United Church of Christ, 300 Tecumseh Rd., Clinton.  Tickets price for adults is $8, children ages 5 to 10 is $5 and children under 5 is free.

Tecumseh/Britton Area Girl Scouts invite all girls kindergarten age and up and their parents to the annual Round-Up Interest Night on Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Tecumseh Middle School Cafeteria.  Doors open from 6:30 to 7:30p.m.  Join the scouts for free crafts and activities and learn about member and leadership opportunities.
