In conjunction with the Michigan Visiting Care, the Lenawee County Health Department will be conducting an adult seasonal flu clinic from 8 a.m. until noon on Friday, Oct. 8. Annual vaccination against influenza is recommended for anyone who wants to reduce the risk of becoming ill with influenza or or transmitting it to others. Pregnant women and household contacts and caregivers of children of children less than six months of age are especially targeted for vaccine protection. Start: 08:00

Chief Tecumseh Questers began the new year by meeting for lunch with 13 members present. The group welcomed new members, then proceeded to the Dundee Historical Museum and the Old Mill for a tour. There were many items from both white settlers and the local Indians who settled along the Macon River. In October, members will participate in the Fall State Convention, and on Oct. 14, the group will travel to Litchfield for a program about sewing memorabilia.
