Michigan recently sent its only International Skeet Shooter, Chris Haver, of Clinton, to Colorado Springs, at Fort Carson, and he placed third overall as a member of the Junior Olympic shooting team.

The placement helped advance Haver up to the National Development team. He and another Michigan shooter, Rachael Heiden, will soon return to Ft. Carson for the Fall Selection Match to qualify for the World Cups in 2009.
Rachael Heiden brought home the Silver medal in Women's Single Trap. Heiden not only placed second after a one-target shoot-off for Gold, she also was awarded a position on the USA National Development team.

Garrett Walters brought home fifth place overall in Single Bunker Trap, and High gun in J2 SCTP. Walters also placed fourth overall in Double Bunker Trap and High Gun J2 SCTP.
