Tecumseh's varsity girls team won the Lenawee County Cross-country championships for the fourth consecutive time on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Gerber Hill Park.

The Indians' girls totaled 35 points to win the 12-school event with Jordan Harrison placing first individually in a time of 19:49.

Blissfield (64) finished second as a team and was followed by Onsted (83), Sand Creek (109), Adrian (142), LCS (144), Clinton (177) and Britton-Deerfield (183).

Grace Kelley followed next for the Indians with a fifth place time of 20:46 while Ellie Jacques finished fifth in 20:47.

“I'm very proud of the girls,” said Tecumseh coach David Greene. “We sat some of our runners because of injuries and girls like Grace and Ellie picked up the slack to insure this victory.”
