The Jack Tripper Experience

These guys will be playing this Friday at the Whistle Stop Station in Britton. I've had the pleasure of writing stories about Jake Larson and Patrick Bates at various points in their lives. Now, they've pooled their talents to perform as the Jack Tripper Experience. For those who might be too young to remember, Jack Tripper is the character that John Ritter played on the classic sitcom Three's Company. Admittedly, it took me a while to make that connection. I've seen the duo perform here and there at various Britton events, including the Britton-Macon Area School mock convention held during the recent presidential election season. A Britton graduate, Patrick plays rhythm guitar and sings lead vocals, and Jake now works as a parapro and he plays lead guitar and backup vocals. Jake played formerly with Plan B and Habitual.
