Herman H. Hastings
Herman H. Hastings, 91, of Adrian, MI, passed away, May 5, 2009, at home. He was born June 16, 1917, in Tecumseh, MI, the son of William and Nanny (Himes) Hastings.
Herman is survived by his wife, Doris, his two daughters; Myra (Issac) Orner, Starr (Charles) Buffinger, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his sister Mary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, William, two brothers, William and Ernest, and two sisters, Virginia and Marian.
Funeral Services were held Friday, May 8, 2009, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, with the Rev. Lloyd Jewett officiating. Military Honors were performed by Adrian VFW Post 1584 Annis Fint.
