Over 155 participated in Kelly Carter Scholarship event

To the Editor,

What a wonderful community we live in! Carter Rehabilitation Center in Tecumseh held the 15th Annual Kelly Carter Scholarship Run/Walk on Saturday, July 18. This was one of the most successful events ever with over 155 local and regional participants.
I would like to thank Tecumseh Police Chief Mac Haun for traffic control, making sure all our runners were safe. I cannot thank our event sponsors enough for their contributions and support! Without you we would not be able to continue with our tradition of providing local students with scholarship opportunities.

I would like to send a special thanks to Eric and Kerri Clarke from Running with E’s, you are such a blessing! From early planning to race day you never hesitate to help, and thank you a thousand times still wouldn’t be enough! There were other volunteers, too numerous to mention, without your help this fundraiser would not have been such a success. You are all greatly appreciated! It is encouraging to live in a community of so many individuals and businesses who come together for such a worthwhile event!
