To the Editor,

We would like to thank everyone for their support, prayers, thoughts, concerns and well-wishes during Rick’s recent surgery and hospital stay.

We have several close friends and family members whose support has been immeasurable. The outpouring of concern from the greater community has been remarkable, as well, and has turned this difficult situation into a joyous and thankful time in our lives. We know we have been raised up by several prayer chains and church congregations. Offers from friends and acquaintances to help out with any little detail which might lighten our load have really been helpful and appreciated.

We have read the cards and felt the positive thoughts of everyone and count ourselves blessed to live among such wonderful, caring people. Due to all of this and the talent of the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Rick is on his way to a speedy and full recovery. Our family can only hope to repay your kindness.
