Acres of Fun 5K run raises $3,688

The fourth Annual Acres of Fun 5K Run went off without a hitch on a drizzly Saturday morning with a total of 125 competitors signing up for the 5k.

The event finished with a profit of $3,688 that will go toward improvements to playground equipment at Tecumseh Acres Elementary School.

Tom Romanowski (40-44 division) was the overall winner with a time of 16:47. Sam Skeels (30-34) finished second in 17:22 while Chad Curry (35-39) was third in 18:32.
Deb Wubrook was the top female runner with a time of 22:44. Wendy Knapp was second with 22:51 while Lisa Smith was third in 22:53.
