THS boys finish third at County Invite

Tecumseh's varsity boys cross-country team placed third at the Lenawee County Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Blissfield's Gerber Park.
Leon Miller was Tecumseh's quickest runner with a fifth place time of 16:52. Austin See finished 11th in a time of 17:32 and was followed by Alden Eubanks (21st, 18:05), Nolan Reynolds (18:26), Cody Handy (28th, 18:29), Patrick McAran (30th, 18:31) and Ben Robertson (34th, 18:44).
Adrian won the race with 64 points while Hudson finished second with 66. Tecumseh scored 83 while Onsted had 95, Madison, 107, Sand Creek, 111 and Clinton 188.
Clinton's Kenny Cooper paced the Redskins with a third place finish in 16:27. Cooper finished no lower than fourth place in the 12 races he participated in this year. Tim Smith placed 36th in 18:47 for Clinton.
Tecumseh's girls placed fourth (109) behind first place Blissfield (59). Onsted (81) was second while Adrian (88) was third.
Clinton finished eighth (170) but had Kadie Tower (18th, 22:08), Beth Cameron (35th, 23:59) and Emily Wilson (37th, 24:06) each receive medals.
