To the Editor,

The subject company leaving Tecumseh is a direct result of the bond passed recently against companies. They are fighting to stay in business and the locals don’t seem to get the idea. This same type of action will only continue until the folks in this area accept the fact of the economic conditions.

A similar result will happen with the general public if the school bond passes. Why is the U.S. Government giving out billions of dollars to the general public and businesses? Because everyone — except I guess the schools — are in financial trouble.

I’m sure everyone wants to maintain good schools, but let’s be honest, now is not the time.
