Valuable lessons learned through preschool program

To the Editor,

Thank you Tecumseh Public Schools South Site Preschool Families! We work hard to incorporate a year-long theme into our daily play and learning known as “Caring is Sharing.” This became very evident with our November Food Drive. We collected over 250 items of food! This was combined with our North Site Friends, LISD, Porter Center and Head Start Preschools for a total of nearly 400 items.

The food along with creative cards, were delivered to both the “Dinner’s On Us” program and the Tecumseh Service Club. It brings me great pride to see this generosity especially in these tough economic times.

The kids were eager to track their daily progress on a graph and color the number of items donated; while at the same time learning a valuable life lesson. Please know you have helped to make a big difference in the lives of many.
