Tecumseh Symphony Orchestra annual yard sale a success with over $8,000 raised

To  the Editor,

We would like to thank each and every person who made our recent 4th Annual Friends of Tecumseh Schools Orchestra Yard Sale such a huge success!

A special thank you goes out to our sponsors - Richard at GK Tent Rental, Don & Laura at Tecumseh Self Storage and Kohl’s of Adrian…without these wonderful sponsors this event would not be possible!  A very special thank you to Allen & Judy Dryer…their generous donations this year were the big part of making this sale our biggest yet! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!

To the dozens of TSO parents, students and friends that helped set up the sale, donated merchandise, brought us food, helped with customers, loaned us trucks, tables and tents and helped with taking down the sale – Thank you!  Jim Lincoln and Jean Oatman at the Tecumseh Herald – thank you for always being there for us!  To Chief Haun from the Tecumseh Police Department and Kevin Welch from the City of Tecumseh – Thank you for watching out for us!  

And last but certainly not the least...to the 100s of customers that attended our sale, bought merchandise and made donations – Thank you!  We hope you enjoyed the sale and plan on attending again next year! And a special thank you to our friend Jan Weitzel “the pricing queen” for all of the wonderful help she gave us!

With the help of wonderful people like all of you we will some day make our dream of building an Orchestra Room at Tecumseh High School come true.  Because of all of you and the great help we received we set a new record by making $8,176.20 at this sale!  Our new total for the Tecumseh High School Orchestra room building fund is $341,108.31!
