Tecumseh Public Schools Board member Jimmie Rice reads a letter to the Telegram's Editor that he wrote in response to a recent editorial printed by the paper that criticized the board for approving $25,000 for a seven-minute spot on a Detroit TV program titled, "The Best Schools in Michigan." This is an attempt, and a poor one at that, to "recruit" students into Tecumseh schools. Seeing as Tecumseh can't keep it's own kids enrolled, and with the budget crisis, further wasting our funds on things like this is ridiculous.
