Lucille Case
Lucille Case, age 95, of Adrian, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at Charlotte Stephenson Manor. She was born Feb. 20, 1915, in Adrian, to Charles F. and Elma I. (Hines) Gritzmaker. On Feb. 16, 1946, she married Richard E. Case and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1990. Lucille was a member of West Rome Baptist Church. She retired from American Chain and Cable after 44 years of service. She enjoyed bingo and working puzzles.
Lucille is survived by one son, Delbert Gritzmaker, and his wife, Anne of Adrian; one son-in-law, William Roberts of Brooklyn and one daughter-in-law; Jeanette Gritzmaker of Tecumseh; 7 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Richard Gritzmaker, one daughter, Betty Roberts, two granddaughters, two great-granddaughters, one brother and one sister.
At Lucille’s request cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Interment of cremains will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park in Adrian at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee. Arrangements were under the direction of the Anderson Funeral Home.
