Bedford's varsity football team remains undefeated, beats Indians 50-15
Tecumseh mixed its game up a bit more and scored two touchdowns against visiting Bedford but lost 50-15 against the undefeated Kicking Mules. The Indians (1-7 overall) remain at home and face Charlotte in the final game of the season.
PS -
They also have a beautiful bowl style stadium and natural field just like someone had a few years ago.

Hey Mickey!
Come to Clinton! Watch some real football 50 to 30 Friday night - Home coming game hard fought battle against Morenci - this week they go for a share of the title! I'm trading my Indian paraphernalia for Redskin, the only problem is there are no Clinton people going to Tecumseh, so no one wants this junk. Oh well, it was a great place to be before Bingaman and whoever stole the position after him.

I think
Anyone in Tecumseh or any where for that matter, only wants the best of academics and athletics for their children/school. That much I think we can all agree upon! It is never easy to see a team, weather is it football, basketball or any other sport struggle for so many years.
At the same time it is never easy to point fingers at what the problems are, because when you do that it makes someone the problem or something the problem for the cause of it. Sports should never be all about winning, we should not only stress that the only thing that is most important is to have a winning season. However at the same time that is what coaches are trying to do, while also providing many life lessons to the players.
The biggest problem that I can see is that Tecumseh has struggled in these sports for many years and little has been done to change that culture, a culture of struggle. It is not as simple as changing a coach, changing an AD, its changing the culture, the athletics purpose, mission, and the athletic programs philosophy.
Provide the students a reason to be a leader, mentor, give them a foundation for the reasons why we play with pride, composure, and teamwork, commitment. Provide a youth program that echos these same things and you will see a vast change in the results.
These were needed 7 years ago, It was noted by the AD back then that it was needed but nothing was done and the results have not changed......... How many more years will go by until they realize it is the program structure that is the problem? I feel bad for the students, I know like many do, you are all very good student.athletes, I just hoped things were better for you.
Don't count your chickens
Charlotte is coming off a big 49-48 Friday night win over Corunna to improve its season to 2-6 overall so Tecumseh can't assume the final game will be a win. They're going to have to earn it! Still, even if they do win that leaves us with another 2-7 season. Maybe next year will be our year?
Mickey
I know that Charlotte beat us last year so Im not counting chickens . I was trying to stay positive considering Charlotte is not a Adrian type of team . Next year will be the same as this year and last year and the year before that if Mensing continues to run the program !!!
I dont know what to even
I dont know what to even say to that score other then Mensings defense has now given up over 100 points in 2 games ! Clearly it isnt working so why stay with it ? Charlotte is not a power house team so maybe they can get win #2 and close the season on a high note ?
