Lucille Mae Bugbee

Lucille Mae Bugbee, 89, of Tecumseh, passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2011. She was born Sept. 20, 1921, the daughter of Carl and Bertha (Ehlert) Weitenhagen. On June 16, 1956, she married Ivan Bugbee in Macon. Sadly he preceded her in death.Lucille was a lifetime resident of the area and enjoyed dancing and playing cards. She enjoyed collecting frogs, watching for deer, crafting, and crocheting. Lucille worked at several local businesses including Hidden Lake Gardens, D and C in Tecumseh, and the Fogelsong Fabric Center. She will be greatly missed by her family.Lucille is survived by her son, Bruce Bugbee of Clinton; her daughter, Sheryl (Mark) Moll of Adrian and three grandchildren, Gregory, David and Michele. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Burton Weitenhagen; and her sister, Mildred Schwager.Visitation for Lucille will be Thursday, Aug. 11, at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow visitation at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gary Leking of Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
