Patriots shut out Eagles

Britton Deerfield picked up its second varsity football win of the season in as many games with a 34-0 shutout at home on Thursday, Sept. 1.Patriot quarterback Andrew Prielipp completed 7-of-14 passes for 120-yards and two touchdowns. Also scoring touchdowns for Britton Deerfield were Jacob Warner, Kray Sweinhagen, Leighton Merritt, Nate Hoffman and Brock Prain.Zack Robinson recorded 10 tackles for BD while Jordan Osbun had 10 tackles and forced a fumble. Merritt had five tackles and one interception while Hoffman had an interception. Jeremy Hatfield and Josh Reau each recovered fumbles.The Patriots play next at Clinton on Friday, Sept. 9.
