Mark E. Reed

Mark E. Reed, age 53 of Addison, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012 at his home.He was born on April 18, 1959 in Addison to Richard R. and Donna L. (Cornwell) Reed. He married Jeri L. Howiler on Sept. 1, 1979 at Devils Lake, Mich.Mark lived all his life in the Addison area. He graduated from Addison High School in 1978. He was formerly employed at Addison Products and then he was employed at M&S Manufacturing Company in Hudson as a Tooling Designer for 22 years. Mark was a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1978-1983. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, canoeing, camping, hunting and fishing.Surviving is his wife Jeri and two daughters, Amy (Justin) Doehring of Tecumseh, Michelle Reed and her fiancé, Jamie Mickel of Addison, two grandchildren, Alyssa Mickel and Mason Doehring, Mark’s parents, Richard and Donna Reed of Grayling, two brothers, Larry (Amy) Reed of Addison, Bob (Michelle) Reed of Brooklyn, two sisters, Stacy (Jon) Reed of Devils Lake, Beth (Clyde) O’Rourke of St. Ignace, Mich., several nephews, nieces and cousins.Cremation has taken place. Private family services were held. Donations can be made to the Mark Reed Benefit.Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison.View this obituary and send condolences to the family at:
