Richard E. Parker

Richard E. Parker, 80, of Tecumseh, passed away June 1, 2011. Richard was born May 13, 1931, in Sand Creek, Mich., the son of Ralph and Glorene (Updyke) Parker. He married Florence Marie Glissen and she preceded him in death.

He retired from the Tecumseh Products after many years of service.

Richard is survived by his sons, Kenneth Eugene Parker, Ralph F. (Mamie) Parker and Richard Charles Parker, all of Tecumseh; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John; and sisters, Doris, Marjorie and Jeannette.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Arrangements were entrusted to the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
