BD boys take down Aggies

Outscoring Sand Creek in the first half of its varsity boys basketball team allowed Britton Deerfield to hang on for a 46-35 Tri-County Conference victory on Friday, Feb. 10.

The Patriots outscored Sand Creek 23-8 in the first half but was outscored 27-23 to finish out the game.

“Our defense set the tone for the night,” said BD coach Darren Shiels. “It was the best team defense we have played in the last few games.”

Devin Gruber led BD with 11 points and six rebounds while Josh Reau added eight points and four rebounds.
