Tecumseh man dies in Raisin Twp. accident on Occidental Highway

Lee Marsh, 72, of Tecumseh, lost his life in an accident in Raisin Township on Tuesday, April 10. The Raisin Township Police Department is investigating the single vehicle traffic crash that occurred on Occidental Hwy. near Kellen Drive at 4:15 p.m.

Witnesses reported that a vehicle driven by Marsh was traveling Southbound on Occidental Hwy. when he crossed the center line and struck several trees, rolling the vehicle at least once.

Marsh was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

He was transported by Lenawee Community Ambulance to ProMedica Herrick Hospital where he was pronounced dead. LCA was assisted at the scene by the Raisin Township Fire Department.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation according to Raisin Township Police Chief Scott Lambka.
