MARY ANN CARROLL

Mary Ann Carroll, 74, of Adrian, passed away February 1, 2008. Mary Ann was born June 29, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Edd and Louisa (Simmons) Snodgrass. On April 19, 1973, she married Robert Carroll in Belleville, Michigan.  He survives.  

Mary Ann loved to cook and garden.   Besides her husband, Robert, Mary Ann is survived by her children. Edward (Diana) Smith of Carleton, MI, Martin (Pam) Smith of Columbia, TN, Phillip Smith of Casa Grande, AZ, Vicki Stroh and her fiancé, Frederick Wisswell  of Marysville, MI and James Smith of Lapeer; step children, Sally Carroll of Hamburg, MI and Robert Carroll, Jr. of Grayling, MI; brother Michael (Diane) Snodgrass of CA; 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Snodgrass.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.  A private family visitation will be held.  Arrangements are by the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian.
