Olivia Cordova-Jaso, 70, of Adrian died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at her home. She was born February 27, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas to Daniel and Guadalupe (Tellez) Cordova.
Olivia was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was a cook for over 20 years at the Sunnyside Restaurant. Olivia loved to cook, put puzzles together, play bingo, crochet and spend time with her family.
She is survived by four sons, Leopoldo Garcia Jaso of Adrian, Daniel Jasso of Adrian, Emilio Jaso of Adrian, Juan Roberto Jaso of Adrian; five daughters, Sylvia (Adolfo) Brito of Adrian, Elvira Jasso of Bryan, Texas, Frances (Harvey Stone) Lizcano of Jackson, MI, Sarah Rodriquez of Monroe, MI, Lile R. Jaso of Adrian; six brothers, Rudy Cordova of San Antonio, TX, Delfino Sandoval of Bryan, TX, Hector (Clara) Guedea of San Antonio, TX, Jeronimo Guedea of San Antonio, TX, Oswald (Mary) Guedea of San Antonio, TX and Nicholas Guedea of Bryan, TX; four sisters, Aida (Margarito) Garcia of Bryan, TX, Mary (Andrew) Rodriguez of Calvert, TX, Oneida Avila Andrade of Bryan, TX and Guadalupe (Jesse) Garcia of Houston, TX; 36 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The Funeral Liturgy for Olivia was held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Louis Komorowksi as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation was held at the Anderson Funeral Home.
