Roberts Amick, 76, of Britton,  died on June 17, 2008 at home, seven days after being diagnosed with lung and liver cancer.  

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carolyn (Balasa), his six children Robert (Maile) Amick, Chris (Jim) Fitzgerald, Kathy (Gary) Houle, Teri (Kevin) Kurtz, Tim  (Barbara) Amick, Paul (Sharon) Amick, 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a sister, Judy Porep-Lullo all of California.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, MaryEllen and Vic Amick and a twin sister Roberta Kamperschroer,  His body was donated to the University of Michigan.  
A memorial tribute will be held in California where he resided most of his life.  Contributions may be made to Arbor Hospice.
