To the Editor,
Last week we had a moving sale in preparation for a move to smaller digs.
Elders Bird and Wright from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints volunteered to move the million items from my basement and attic. When this was completed they insisted on mowing my lawn and returned two days later to help me clean up and take the unsold items to Goodwill.
Action speaks louder than words. Their willingness to help us without concerns for repayment causes me to appreciate what these young “Mormons” do. White shirts and ties riding on bicycles alerts me to young men deeply dedicated to their faith and service.
