Tecumseh coach Jerry Nowak isn’t fretting and possibly for good reason.
His well-established boys soccer program has had winning records in each of the last five seasons and while the Indians (0-3-1) are winless, they have showed progression and promise.

There was no stopping Tecumseh’s varsity boys soccer team in the first round of Division 2 district action at home against Milan on Tuesday. The Big Reds lost by mercy rule with the Indians shutting them down for an 8-0 victory.

TECUMSEH — After going-toe-to-toe against visiting Divine Child on Wednesday, Aug. 30, and finishing in a scoreless tie, Tecumseh’s varsity boys soccer team dominated visiting Lincoln the following day and shut out the Railsplitters with an 8-0 final.

TECUMSEH — Scoring two goals in the first half of its August 24 varsity boys soccer match at home against Adrian didn’t allow Tecumseh much breathing room in the second half. Adrian heated up and scored a goal but the Indians overpowered the Maples for a 2-1 victory.

CLINTON — Clinton’s varsity boys soccer team defeated Grass Lake 8-0 on Monday with Mitchell Drabicki scoring a hat trick in the first four minutes of the game with assists from Tyler Bolyard and Gavin Scott.

If all the stars line up this year Tecumseh’s varsity boys soccer team may be in for another great season. Indians coach Jerry Nowak was optimistic and a bit superstitious when talking about what may be in store for the fans.
