Rescuing animals is a habit that Jessica Stretch’s family can’t break, and their pets hit the jackpot when it comes to tender loving care. Jessica, the Tecumseh Farmers Market manager and a realtor with Howard Hanna, said that either by chance or fate, sick or injured animals find the family.

Tecumseh City Council found a win-win solution at Monday’s meeting for people who wanted to use totes for trash pickup and for those who didn’t. Residents who didn’t want to use or see totes at all were likely less satisfied.
