Tecumseh Public Schools is closer to reconfiguration after a survey as well as school board member input narrowed four proposals down to two at Monday night’s meeting. Vice President Lynne Davis presided over the meeting in the absence of President Tony Rebottaro.

The holiday season has officially begun, with craft shows, Christmas lights, decorations and festivities planned from now until the end of the year. Once December begins the holiday events become plentiful, with many planned for the Tecumseh area next weekend.

District reconfiguration was a major topic at Monday night’s school board meeting, but Tecumseh Public Schools teachers were not supportive of the options nor the decision-making timeline that the board and administration insist are crucial to head off financial deficits in the budget.
