OJAY STEVEN BISSETT
Ojay Steven Bissett, 49, of Swanton, Ohio, died Friday, June 27, 2008, at the home of his sister. He was born January 9, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio to Oscar John and Gertrude Iola (Polhemus) Bissett.
He had graduated from Madison High School and had attended Jackson Community College. Ojay had been employed by Bax Global as a fuel tech at the Toledo Airport. He was a member of the Eagles and had served as President in 1993. He was a member of the Friday Night Bowling League for the Eagles.
Ojay is survived by a daughter, Jane Bissett; a brother, Gerald Bissett of Swanton, Ohio; a sister, Tena Lewis and her husband, Scot, of Adrian. He was preceded in death by his parents, all of his grandparents, and a sister, Lucille Catherine Bissett.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian with the Rev. David Martinez officiating. ROSE ANN (DANIELS)
Rose Ann (Daniels) Bowers, 27, of Adrian, passed away, Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Toledo Hospital. She was born May 2, 1981, in Jackson, MI, to Robert and Lavinda (Housler) Daniels.
Rose loved spending time with her kids in the park and going for walks. She was always smiling and making other people smile.
Rose is survived by her mother, Lavinda (Daniel) Trevino of Adrian; her father, Robert (Bonnie) Daniels of Onsted; four sons, Justan, Trenton, Jaxx, and Zachariah all at home; two daughters, Theresa and Savannah both at home; two brothers, Jon (Connie) Daniels and Robert Daniels of Adrian; one sister, Shannon (Ron) Gilbert of Adrian; grandparents, Denny Housler of Seneca, Carma Housler of Addison and Rose Daniels of Adrian; numerous nieces and nephews; and her best friends, Christina Cook, Eddie Padro and Debbie Stoddard all of Adrian. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Frank B. Daniels II and her great-grandmother, Theresa Truman.
Visitation was held on Friday at the Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Friday at the Anderson Funeral Home with Kevin Housler officiating. Cremation followed the service.

OLEN E. COURINGTON
Olen E. Courington, 79, of Adrian died passed away, Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at Bixby Medical Center. He was born November 29, 1928 in Lynn, Alabama to Thomas Felix and Alison H. (Oliver) Courington. On July 5, 1947 in Corinth, Mississippi he married Lois M. Pope and she survives.
Olen was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He worked at Stevenson Lumber Co. as a truck driver and retired in 1987. Olen enjoyed repairing small engines and he was a driver for the Meals on Wheels program.
In addition to his wife, Lois, he is survived by four sons, Edward (Vicki) Courington of Adrian, Steven (Sue Dickerson) Courington of Onsted, Larry (Mary Ann) Courington of Adrian and Lynn “Kink” (Robbin) Courington of Adrian; one daughter, Julie (Milo) Warren of Adrian; two sisters, Sarah “Glennie” Hill of Adrian; Mary Yielding of Arkansas; 14 grandchildren, Jack (Carrie), Kim, Edward II, Rheubin Courington, Amanda (Roy) Martinez, Jeremiah, Michael Courington, Holly (Chris) Webb, Will (Melanie O ‘ Neil) Courington, Kristi (Dan) Pearson, Hudson, Chelsea, and Sierra Courington, Spenser Warren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Olen were held on Monday, June 30, 2008, at at the Anderson Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Burdine officiating. Burial was in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian.

DONALD “BONDO” MOORE
Donald “Bondo” Moore, of Anaheim Calif., formerly of the Tecumseh/Britton area, passed away June 16, 2008. Memorial services will be held Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at the Macon United Methodist Church at 2 p.m.
DONNA L. COVELL
Donna L. Covell, 85, of Adrian, formerly of Tecumseh, passed away June 27, 2008. Donna was born June 25, 1923 in Waldron, MI the daughter of Claude and Ida (Lett) Marvin. On August 7, 1945 she married Gerald Covell in Toledo, Ohio. He preceded her in death on November 19, 1984.
She enjoyed teaching children how to read working throughout the Adrian elementary school system. Donna was involved in all her grandchildren's activities, programs and sports. She was employed as the head cook at the Stephenson Home for over 30 years. Donna was a member of the Adrian Church of the Nazarene where she worked with the Sunday School teachers teaching the children.
Donna is survived by daughters, Cheryl (Ron) Davis of Adrian and Judy (Thomas) Creger of Tipton; sons, Jack (Bette) Covell of Onsted and Gerald (Kathy) Covell of Birdsall; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Jennie Ward and Maureen (Norris) Nickelson, both of Adrian; brother, James (Wilma) Marvin of Adrian and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Gerald, Donna was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter; grandson, and great granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian with Pastors David Fulks and Michael Dunson officiating. Burial followed at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh.
