Shortages due to the COVID-19 pandemic have hit local establishments, affecting business operations and service to customers. Some of the items that have been in short supply since the coronavirus response shut-downs include coins, automobiles and certain grocery items.

In a year where so many festivals have cancelled, Appleumpkin Festival visitors and vendors are looking forward to the yearly festival in Tecumseh, set for October 10 and 11. The goal for the Appleumpkin planning team is to make the festival fun and safe for everyone participating.
