Pat Morast of Tecumseh has been part of Quilts of Compassion for four years. On the first Saturday of each month, she joins other volunteers at The Quilt Patch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to make quilts for those affected by tragedy.

A house fire at 818 Stetson St. on Sunday, April 5, left the family of Josh and Morgan Lowery safe and unharmed, but with their home and possessions a total loss. Tecumseh Fire Department was dispatched to the scene at 11:15 a.m., assisted by the Clinton and Raisin Township Fire Departments.
