Zechariah McDavid, 18, of Britton always enjoyed time on the River Raisin canoeing and kayaking. When Tecumseh firefighter Captain Brian Radant came to Boy Scout Troop 707 in 2015 with an idea for an Eagle Scout project that involved the river, McDavid dove right in.

Tecumseh police have arrested two men in separate incidents that involved guns and felonious assault over the course of four days on July 28-31. The suspects, both from Tecumseh, were lodged at the Lenawee County Jail.
