The Clinton Scouts would like to give a big THANK YOU to Chris Howe from Howe Plumbing in Tecumseh for fixing the plumbing at the Scout cabin!  We are very thankful that Chris offered to help us out pro bono and he did a great job!  This fall the Scout meetings can resume at the Scout cabin thank

I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to Coach Dolson and the Tecumseh Indians football program for assisting the Parks and Recreation department by moving mountains of safety mulch at playscapes throughout the park system.

Our child is a student and athlete at Britton Deerfield schools. I, myself, am also a Deerfield graduate and former athlete for BD. After my son was born, my husband and I chose to move back to the Deerfield community. Our son was in second grade at the time.

Finalized 2019 budget for Michigan invests more in schools and roads

Recently, the governor signed the fiscal year 2019 budget into law. Every year I have been in the Legislature, we have completed a balanced and responsible budget well ahead of schedule, allowing local governments and schools to set their budgets using real numbers.

What does an old, decommissioned tank mean to a community?  It would seem to be a “trigger” for the more sensitive souls, one which evokes fear and hatred of all things military or American in nature.  It seems to have evolved, in some magical way, into a symbol of oppression of all that is “good

This year, the Tecumseh Area Chamber of Commerce had a condensed version of Dog Daze in downtown Tecumseh during Sidewalk Sales. 

Although the event was on a smaller scale, people still enjoyed bringing their pets out for the parade.  We got some great suggestions for next year.

To have a tank or not to tank. The Memorial Park has been in existence for almost 100 years. For 83 of those years the Pratt-Hicks family have lived on Brown Street. The front of the park was designed to honor the veterans and faces U.S. 12.

I am writing today to thank the Tecumseh Herald for their ongoing reporting and criticism of the happenings within the Tecumseh School District. I am one of the parents that signed the petition. I live, work, and attend church in the district.
