I am extremely grateful to the community of Tecumseh for the outpouring of support focused on the Tecumseh High School photography class. The notice in the Tecumseh Herald sparked a flurry of interest in our class and many generous gifts of cameras and film.

The auxiliary of the Underwood-Orr #34 American Legion would like to shout out a big “thank you” to Tecumseh Plywood for donating all the paint and supplies used when we recently renovated the bar room, restrooms and auxiliary room at the legion home.

I’m sad for the children who are, apparently, having mask issues. (Or is it their parents who are having the issues?) I will feel even sadder for them when they and their classmates have to wear masks, ventilators, etc. because they’re hospitalized with COVID-19.

Medical leaders from 21 hospital systems, including ProMedica Health, signed an open letter to Michigan residents pleading for people to get vaccinated. The letter comes after an increase of COVID-19 cases across the state, which leaders warn could turn into a fourth wave.
