After finishing the district soccer championship match without either Tecumseh or Milan scoring a goal, even with 20 minutes of overtime action, the Indians secured the title by beating the Big Reds in a penalty kick (PK) shootout.

Indians win opening round of district soccer

Tecumseh’s varsity boys soccer team defeated New Boston Huron 5-1 on Tuesday in the first round of districts. Approximately 10 minutes into the game, Noah Schoenberger put a shot into the back of the net. Josh Nowak also scored and gave Tecumseh a 2-0 lead by the end of the first half.

Clinton ends varsity boys soccer season

Clinton’s varsity boys soccer team hosted the first round of districts on Tuesday and lost 4-1 to Jackson Christian.

Tolen Nelson scored the only goal of the night for the Redskins. Ryan Hoffman had 13 saves with Clinton having 12 shots on goal.
