The tournament at Grand Rapids Forest Hills on January 18 was a round robin format and the Clinton Redskins went 3-1 for the day. The wrestling started with a win over Allendale 47-23. The second round was against host Forest Hills Eastern and the Redskins prevailed 56-15.

On Wednesday, Jan. 8 Tecumseh wrestled the first time at home this season in an SEC Conference Quad Meet and lost to Chelsea 37-33 in a very close match. The team competed well, but had an unfortunate situation that cost them the dual. Aidan Mckelvy was up 6-2 in his match in the second period.

The Tecumseh High School boys swim team competed in a double dual meet against Dundee and Riverview on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at Dundee. The final scores were Riverview 118, Tecumseh 48; Dundee 106, Tecumseh, 39; and Dundee 105, Riverview 74.

On Saturday, Jan. 4 Tecumseh’s varsity wrestling team traveled to Wyandotte for a very tough and competitive Wyandotte Roosevelt Invit-ational. “It was a large field of traditionally great wrestling programs and I was a bit concerned that it may be too much too soon for our younger wrestlers.

The Tecumseh high school wrestling team traveled on December 21 for the Manchester Invitational. It was a team tournament and the Indians went 4-1 to take third place.

The Tecumseh varsity wrestling team traveled to the Brooklyn Columbia Central Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 14. Their record was 2-3 on the day. This year’s young team wrestled well and never gave up.

On Monday, Dec. 16 Tecumseh bowling teams had their first home bowling battles at Ten Pin Alley. Both the Tecumseh High School (THS) varsity boys and girls came away with two big wins against their county rival the Maples of Adrian.

Lenawee United hockey Coach Don Cooper expected a little better effort out of his team last Saturday at Optimist Ice Arena against Jackson United at Optimist Ice Arena.

The Tecumseh High School (THS) bowling teams started the 2019-2020 season with their annual visit to Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing. This tournament regularly features some of the top teams in Michigan High School bowling.
