Alice Adrienne Everett

Alice Adrienne Everett, age 83 of Clinton, passed away on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022 with her family by her side. Alice was born October 20, 1939 in Amherst, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Brandau) Leimbach. On May 6, 1961 in Toledo, Ohio she married Donald Carroll Everett and they shared over 61 years together.

Alice along with her husband farmed for many years in the area.  She was a faithful member of the Macon United Methodist Church, singing in the choir and playing the chimes on Sunday mornings. Alice enjoyed visiting with her friends and loved being outside tending to her garden.

Besides her husband Donald, Alice is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Paul) Blunden of Grosse Pointe Shores; daughter-in-law, Christine Everett of Clinton; grandsons, Christopher (April) Blunden, Matthew (Dhurata) Blunden, Greggory (Sarah) Blunden, and Alexander Blunden; and two great-grandsons, Lawson and Declan Blunden. Besides her parents, Maurice and Margaret McIntosh, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald Everett.

In accordance with Alice’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Alice will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 at the Macon United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Vollmer officiating. A reception will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Lenawee and the Macon United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements are under the care of the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes.
