Armando Flores

Armando Flores, age 79, of Tecumseh, passed away peacefully May 14, 2022 at home with his family by his side. Armando was born May 26, 1942 in Crystal City, Texas, the son of Arnulfo and Petra (Diaz) Flores. On January 8, 1966 he married the love of his life, Rosaly Moreno, in Tecumseh, Mich. at St. Elizabeth Church and she survives.  

Armando attended Blissfield High School. After high school he went into the United States Air Force. After the service he worked at a few places before finding his passion at Johnson Controls as a Tool and Die Maker.

In his free time, he loved golfing, bowling, riding his Harley but most of all spending time with his family and friends. His true love was his family making memories with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Armando is survived by his wife, Rosaly; daughters, Theresa (Tom) Zak, Rebeca Packard, Susana Sump and Anna (Jason) Clark; sons, Santos (Laura) Flores, Che Flores; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Raul (Brenda) Flores, Estella Snare, Ricardo (Linda) Flores, Mary (Julio) Cortez, Rudy Flores and Ellen Peeks. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnulfo and Petra (Diaz) Flores; brothers, Santos Flores, Arnulfo Flores Jr, and twin brothers in infancy; and grandson, Zachery Sump.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 20, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Paul Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Cemetery at M-50/M-52.

Visitation will also be on Friday, May 20, from 11 a.m. until time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
