Bruce Allen Gillespie

Bruce Allen Gillespie, age 72, of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away December 25, 2021, in Lake Oswego, Ore., his home of 21 years.
Bruce was born April 23, 1949, in Tecumseh, the son of Roger and Phyllis (Green) Gillespie.

He enjoyed raising his two children and seeing his five grandchildren grow. He also enjoyed cooking, tinkering with the house, traveling to see family, exploring genealogy, and competing with the neighbors for the best Christmas decorations each year.  
Bruce is survived by his two children; five grandchildren and a sister, niece, and nephew: son, Scott Gradisnik (Yvonne Provines), Connor Gradisnik, Ian Gradisnik, and Vivienne Gradisnik of Portland, Ore.; daughter, Kate Gillespie (Bill Breslo), Ryan Gillespie-Breslo and Liam Gillespie-Breslo, of Santa Monica, Calif.; and sister, Barbara (David) Eichten of Sacramento, Calif.; niece, S. Abigail Veeser (Armando Sanchez) of San Francisco, Calif.; and nephew, Nicholas Veeser, of San Francisco.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on June 18 at 1 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh. Lunch reception to follow at 2:30 p.m. in Adrian, Mich.
