Cheryl Withrow

Cheryl Yvonne Withrow, age 79, of Grand Rapids, Mich., passed away on January 20, 2026, in Grand Rapids. Cheryl was born on January 23, 1946, the daughter of Raymond and Geraldine (Jolley) Warnick, in Warren, Mich. On February 6, 1965, she married the love of her life, Jimmie Withrow. Together, they shared 41 years filled with love and cherished memories until he preceded her in death in 2006.
Throughout her life, she was devoted to her family and took great pride in being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was particularly proud of her grandchildren and found great joy in the birth of her great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Jimmie Roger Withrow.
Cheryl is survived by her two sons, Bruce (Melissa) Withrow and Brad (Cheryl) Withrow; her grandchildren, Alec (Isabel) Withrow, Abby (Adam) Burns, and Emily Withrow; her great-grandchildren, Elianna Burns, Ezra Burns, and Charlie Withrow; and her sister, Beverly (Earl) Ruttkofsky; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A small celebration of life and family graveside service will be planned for the spring at Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh, Mich.
Cheryl will be remembered for her deep love of family. She will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
