Dianne Renae Rufner

Dianne Renae Rufner, age 68 of Tecumseh, passed away on March 12, 2022 at home under the care of her loving family.  She was born on December 22, 1953 in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin to Kenneth and Irene (Wood) Kimpel.  Dianne was a graduate of Tecumseh High School.  She worked as a Quality Control Manager for Tecumseh Products for over 20 years.  Dianne was an avid Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan.  She enjoyed shopping and traveling with her husband to Wisconsin and to Virginia Beach.  Dianne took great pride in owning her 1971 Buick Riviera.  Most of all, Dianne was a devoted wife, mother and friend who always gave freely of her time.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Lamar W. Rufner Jr., of Tecumseh; son, Lamar (Elizabeth) Rufner III of Adrian; brothers, Lee (Jane) Kimpel of Wis., Kenneth (Cheryl) Kimpel of Wis. and Carl (Linda) Kimpel of Clinton; sister Roxanne Peterson of Va.; and two grandchildren, Ava and Lamar Rufner IV, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kendra Brock; brother, Jeff Kimpel and brother-in-law, Ron Peterson.

Per Dianne’s wishes, no formal services will be held and cremation will take place.  The family will have a celebration of her life at a later date this summer. She will be inurned at Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh.
