Harry “Bud” Herbert Hoffman, Jr.
Harry “Bud” Herbert Hoffman, Jr., age 84, of Tecumseh passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at home with his daughter by his side. He was born July 31, 1936 in Adrian, the son of the late Harry Herbert and Dorothy (Bocker) Hoffman, Sr. On September 29, 1989 in Florida, he married Jane Kathryn Henson, they shared 25 years together before her death on May 3, 2015.
Bud proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Clinton. Bud retired from the Tecumseh Products Company and from the Tecumseh Parks and Recreation. Bud loved antiquing and being outdoors hunting and fishing.
Bud is survived by a daughter, Mary Hoffman, of Tecumseh; special friends, Arthur Snyder of Tecumseh and Marie and Vaughn Stewart of Livonia. Besides his parents and wife Jane, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bradley Hoffman.
There will be a celebration of Bud’s life held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be offered to the family at handlerfuneralhomes.com.
