Jerome Andrew Lucas
Jerome Andrew Lucas, age 84, of Tecumseh, Mich. passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at ProMedica Hickman Hospital in Adrian. He was born January 24, 1939 in Struthers, Ohio, a son of the late Andrew and Margaret (Stropich) Lucas. On June 13, 1964 in Struthers, Ohio he married Barbara Ellen Carr and they have shared over 58 years together.
Jerome worked as an industrial electrician for many factories over the years and retired from Ford Motor Co. Wayne Assembly Plant. He was a member of the Tecumseh American Legion and enjoyed attending various gun clubs. He loved volunteering at the Lenawee County Conservation League, trap shooting, hunting, playing euchre and trips to the casino.
Along with his wife, Barbara, Jerome is survived by his daughters, Roxanne (Dan) Ross of Tecumseh. and Rochelle (Aaron) Galloway of Adrian, Mich.; a sister, Monica Knowles of Palm Desert, Calif.; two grandchildren, Zachary (Casey) Galloway of Greenville, S.C. and Hannah Galloway of Adrian.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Inurnment will be in Brookside Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation and American Heart Association. Online condolences may be made to the family at handlerfuneralhomes.com.
